Local Connections
Cochrane Immigrant Services (CISC) connects newcomers and immigrants in the Cochrane area with vital community supports, volunteer opportunities, and multicultural events. Through partnerships with organizations such as Rocky View Immigrant Services and the Rocky View Wheatland Local Immigration Partnership, CISC provides referrals to local services, helps build leadership and volunteer capacity, and celebrates cultural diversity through initiatives like Culture Fest and the Multicultural Library. With a commitment to community inclusion, CISC welcomes individuals from all backgrounds — newly arrived or long-settled — in the spirit of creating a truly welcoming Cochrane.

Rocky View Paratransit & Regional Bus: rockyviewbus.ca The Rocky View regional bus service, operated by the Rocky View Regional Handi-Bus Society, is a wheelchair-accessible, shared-ride service for residents of Rocky View County who are unable to use regular transit. It provides transportation for medical appointments and daily living activities like grocery shopping.
